"Famous Neapolitan Folk Songs"

"Every music has its heaven," Verdi once said. His music was created under the clear sky of "Bella Italia". Verdi's music excites strong emotions, but always remains real and true - and beautiful, as beautiful as the sky over Italy.

In many operas Verdis there is the "very special" hit. World famous the "prisoners - choir" from Nabucco or "Preghiera di Desdemona" (Ave Maria) or "Ella giam¬mai m'amò". They are among the most moving things that European music has ever produced.
Twenty-six operas Verdi wrote throughout his long life and has perfected his mastery from one work to another. NABUCCO, LA TRAVIATA, RIGOLETTO, IL TROVATORE or AIDA are masterpieces from the first to the last bar.

The most beautiful of the inexhaustible wealth of magnificent overtures, choirs, arias and duets was selected for this production. Verdi's immortal music in rousing interpretations, performed by star soloists, choirs and the great orchestra of the Milano Festival Opera - that's the Verdi night!

With a lot of talent and even more emotion, Cristian Lanza knows how to give wings to his voice. The Italian tenor, born in Rome, has long been one of the greats of the scene. His grandfather is still a source of inspiration for him.

At the age of four, Cristian Lanza can play the melodies freely on the piano. In his youth, he sings in the church choir later founded as a teenager, his first band. But even in his earliest childhood, one thing is very clear to him: "I want to become a tenor!"

The native Italian is the grandson of the world famous singer Mario Lanza. But he has long since ventured out of the slipstream of his grandfather. Cristian Lanza's lyric tenor is softer and fuller than his grandfather's. Not only does he have the height expected of tenoraria, he also enchants and always touches his audience with his soulful voice.

With his power of voice, Cristian Lanza has already convinced and inspired a large audience. As an Italian tenor, he has succeeded in singing into the hearts of connoisseurs and friends of classical music as well as his critics, and not just in the great halls and philharmonics of Munich to Berlin, often in small venues such as the Roncole Verdi Festival in front of the birthplace of Verdi in Roncole Verdi near Busseto together with the Roncole Verdi Orchestra under the direction of Silvano Frontalini in cooperation with the Milanese Casa Verdi. The concert was broadcast live worldwide and on Italian TV.

The tenor's repertoire extends far beyond Puccini, Verdi, Leoncavallo, Donizetti, Flotov, Giordano, Mozart, Bizet, C. Cilea and, in particular, Neapolitan vocal pieces. Cristian Lanza touches and enchants people with his voice and music, ia. He appeared as "Ismael" in the opera Nabucco.

Cristian Lanza presents the most beautiful Italian songs, accompanied by soloists and the ensemble of the prestigious Milano Festival Opera.

And so it is safe to exclaim: Long live Verdi! Viva Verdi!
