The iconic film music, composed by John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicolas Hooper and Alexander Desplat, plays a big part in this ongoing fascination. Almost everyone knows the famous "Hedwig’s theme", which is now considered the main theme of the film series.
"The Music of Harry Potter – Live in Concert" is a magical evening of a very special kind. It combines the musical highlights of the "Harry Potter"-films and the play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" into a unique experience.

Using state-of-the-art technology, the huge ensemble of the Cinema Festival Symphonics under the direction of the renowned conductor Stephen Ellery will take Harry Potter fans on a musical journey through all 8 "Harry Potter"-films. Soloists, choir and orchestra create a unique sound. Combined with detailed screen animations and visual effects, the Cinema Festival Symphonics take listeners on a journey into the world of magic.
“Hedwig’s Theme” takes the audience to Hogwarts, where the choir performs “Double Trouble”.
"The Knight Bus" takes listeners on a rapid ride through the night.
“The Black Lake” is a dive into the mystical Black Lake and the realm of the merpeople.
In the end, there is not a dry eye when Hermione disappears from her parents' life with "Obliviate" and all of Hogwarts says goodbye to their beloved headmaster with "Dumbledores Farewell".
This journey into the magical world of Harry Potter does not begin at platform 9 ¾ – it begins in the concert hall!
